Why not a typical valuation firm?

Clients pay for better analysis. Here is what that difference looks like in practice:

Typical valuation servicesQuid Valorem
Commoditized product: software and templates let checklists substitute for critical thinking.Bespoke analyses that begin by asking what is important to analyze, then present the facts coherently.
Industry and economy write-ups bought, pasted in, and disconnected from the conclusion.Every piece of information connects to value. If it does not affect the conclusion, it does not belong in the report.
Value estimates on limited data, few market comparables, and shortcut assumptions.Market evidence analyzed, and investment risks and returns actually estimated.
Junior analysts doing most of the work with little senior supervision.A PhD finance professor and former director of valuations, responsible for the work from start to signature.
